New Airfix 1:24 Spitfire - Merlin engine - part 4

Building Airfix's new 1/24 scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk. IXc! In previous videos I've built the cockpit and the wing / ammunition bay assemblies. In this video I start work on the famous Rolls Royce Merlin engine which powered all Spitfires until the advent of the Griffon powered machines starting with the Mk XII. The Airfix kit includes a full Merlin engine and framework, allowing you to leave the cowling panels off to view the detail from the sides.
