Today's focus: Detailed explanation of Movement No.18 great for correcting your posture. I am a Japanese practitioner in Shiatsu, Acupuncture and Moxibustion since 1999 in Kobe, Japan. Since last year, I have started to provide training in a Japanese traditional gymnastic exercise called JiKyoJutsu. During my practice for many years, I was always looking for a good and simple exercise or self-treating method for my patients and for myself, too. Finally, in 2009, I found JiKyoJutsu--which is the best exercise I have ever known. JiKyoJutsu is really good for your health physically and spiritually. It is also anti-aging and effective in conquering many kinds of disease. If you keep doing it often and properly, you will feel considerably lighter, stronger, younger, and more flexible. You might even become more easy going. JiKyoJutsu was designed by Mr. Fusagoroh Nakai in 1916. Nakai sensei was an excellent massage therapist in Japan, but as his reputation grew, he eventually had too many patients who wanted to see him. Unable to see them all, yet still wanting to help these people, Nakai sensei began thinking of a way to help his patients. As a result, he designed a set of exercises to promote health which is now known as JiKyoJutsu. When I heard the story, "I thought that is exactly what I needed to learn !" Actually, my health condition was not really good at that time, but I started taking a JiKyoJutsu class every week and also did the exercises at home twice a day. After a few months, I started to feel much better. For example, before starting JiKyoJutsu, my blood pressure was pretty high, and I experienced some dizziness, but since then my blood pressure has been completely normal. I have also lost about 10 Kgs ( 22 pounds ), I have almost no back pain or stiff shoulder which I had before, and I feel younger year after year, since starting a regular JikyoJutsu routine. I've been learning JiKyoJutsu since 2009 when I found it, and am still taking a class every week. I have also started teaching JiKyoJutsu classes. I do hope that JikyoJutsu become much more popular in the world. JiKyoJutsu consists of a series only 31 separate movements which are quite simple. But each movement is very profound. So I wish to tell people the profound meaning properly in the videos as much as I can. JiKyoJutsu is originally for Nakai sensei's patients who were sick or did not have a good condition. So basically, everyone can do it in their own way and adapt it to their own ability and condition. If you are sick or have any specific condition or fatigue, please don't copy my exact performance in this video. In that case, please adapt it for your current condition. Otherwise, JiKyoJutsu might be even dangerous for you. Please let me say again. JiKyoJutsu is really good, but if you do it too much or incorrectly, it can be dangerous. I definitely recommend you to keep doing JiKyoJutsu with the some other videos I am updating, but please listen to me very carefully in the videos. Please never do it too much.
