In this first episode of the series “Forbidden to Talk About…”, we explore the origins of polygamy in Equatorial Guinea, drawing on historical texts and studies that challenge many of our assumptions. Is it truly an ancestral practice? Or was it influenced by historical processes such as migrations, cultural contact, or even the slave trade? This video doesn't seek to justify or attack, but rather to understand. Because there are things that aren't talked about… and perhaps it's time to start.
