With the triplets getting older we have been able to take daily walks with all 4 kids as part of our routine. We always stop at Gemma's favorite park on the way so she can enjoy some swinging time and going down the slide. She also loves visiting the small stream through the park and often tries to fish with a stick. We then come home and play as a family in the living room, until everyone gets a their energy out. We let this be as loud as it needs to be. Usually consists of some baby crying while Gemma muffles it out with some pounding of the piano keys. We then eat dinner and get everyone ready for bath time. The triplets love their bath time, as does Gemma, who now only wants to take hot showers. Then we prepare a little late night snack for Gemma, and get some popcorn ready for some family movie time all on the bed. Lately it's 100% been Elsa in Frozen that Gemma allows us to watch. Then we take Gemma to her big girl bed and read her a few of her favorite books, and she gives mommy and daddy her ritual goodnight snuggles and kisses. If the triplets are calm enough or asleep, mommy and daddy then retreat for some alone time to watch a movie, or take a quick power nap, before officially calling it a night.
