The problem of unpredictable conditions at the Policlinico Hospital remains. For years, we've been reporting the lack of stretchers in one of the largest hospitals in southern Italy. Stretchers are seized for hours inside the hospital, thus slowing down ambulances' ability to reach the area when needed. Antonio Loconte of Quinto Potere asks a question: why isn't the patient flow plan improved before beautifying the Policlinico Hospital? Who knows if this question will ever be answered. There's certainly work to be done, and a lot of it, but perhaps it should be done better.
