In the second episode of our Kazakhstan series, we're exploring the streets of Almaty! 🇰🇿 In this episode, my mom and my friend Ali and I are exploring Arbat Street, one of the liveliest areas of Almaty. We start our tour from the Panfilov district and around the Opera House, trying to show you the city's daily life, streets, people, and atmosphere. Of course, our trip wasn't just a city tour. We had plenty of witty conversations, visited souvenir shops, talked about Kazakhstan, and overheard a very interesting conversation in front of a hammam (Turkish bath). My mom and I explored both the modern and cultural sides of Almaty in a genuine way.
