Cast Away #65 - 🌧️ Regen, Matsch und festgefahren?! Der JCB kämpft bis zum Schluss! 🚜

Just when things were really starting to run smoothly, the weather threw a wrench in our plans. 🌧️ The rain has completely softened the ground, and our JCB is really struggling with the disc harrow. We want to finish the meadow extension – giving up isn't an option! Even though the tractor is working up quite a sweat in places, we're working our way forward meter by meter. Since the front loader is already attached, I take the opportunity to collect the first four pallets of oyster mushrooms from our greenhouse. 🍄 They're being moved to our farmyard, making room for the next batch of mushrooms – after all, we want to keep this source of income growing. Meanwhile, we're already looking ahead to the next big investment: 🌱 Weed control! It's about time we started managing our fields more professionally. But before we can buy the right equipment, we obviously need to earn some money first. ... Until then, I'll make sure both meadows are properly fertilized so we can continue to harvest lush grass and plenty of silage. And, of course, it's back to the forest. Timber remains our biggest source of income and is bringing us closer to our next big purchase. How would you tackle weeds? With a sprayer, hoe, or harrow?
