Explains the correct imperial ranks of the imperial officers seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, 1983. There has been an opinion out there for some years, that costume designers incorrectly applied the imperial officer rank plaques to the majority of the imperial cast. Some imperial officers were not even given a rank plaque despite their military rank.
