Hey guys, new Pokémon run in Hardcore Nuzlocke Monotype. Will Psychic Pokémon be able to beat Pokémon Emerald? I also have a community Discord server that you can join here:   / discord   The rules I use in my Monotypes: 1. I can only use Pokémon of the type announced in the video. 2. I can capture Pokémon that don't yet have that type and will get it when they evolve, but I can't use them. 3. A Knocked-Out Pokémon is permanently dead and unusable in battle. 4. Mandatory Definite Mode (The game doesn't offer me a free switch after knocking out an enemy Pokémon). 5. Level Caps are active until I initiate a battle against a Gym Leader, or the Gauntlet against the Fourth Council (i.e., against the first member). 6. I cannot use items in battle (this does not apply to held items). 7. Species Clause: I cannot capture a Pokémon from an evolutionary line that I have already captured (even more important in Monolocke). 8. I reserve the right to use unusable CS-claves in battle to allow the run to reach the league (because otherwise it's no fun). 9. This rule is temporary, but for now, I ban all Legendaries from my runs. 10. The Run ends when I have registered my Pokémon in the Hall of Fame or when I reach the game's credits.
