My Old Man-Gearoid McCarthy

At the end of the mass yesterday we did 5 songs that my dad loved. Here's the First of the five songs. My Old Man. This was one of the most powerful times I've ever had with all the lads with me to perform for my dad. I have to thank all the lads that were with us yesterday to give my father his last mini concert. Fergal Scahill Music and Muldee who were with me when I got the news in Newfoundland. The two lads came the whole way home with me and minded me the whole way and ill be forever grateful to ye. Ger O Donnell and Trevor Sexton TRASNA my dad spend alot of time watching the ill fly away video I did with the lads a few weeks ago and they are incredible together. My dad loved harmonies and he get plenty of them yesterday thanks to both of the lads. They will be going to Newfoundland this year. Make sure ye support them when they come ❤️ Liam Mc Carthy my cousin who was with me all the time since I arrived home. Your a legend bai. X My Uncle Willie was one of my fathers favourite singers and I was so happy he was there with us also. And also to Conor O Shaughnessy for playing the accordion👏 When i flew back in to Dublin airport I was facing a 3 hour journey home alone and all 3 of my sisters came to meet me and I'm so grateful to the three of ye girls xx
