I do want to share my opinion on this magical piece: I know it has been called "The Minute Waltz" and many pianists attempt to play it completely within a single minute. But actually Its nickname was intended to mean "small" in the sense of a "miniature" waltz, given by its publisher. Chopin did not intend for this waltz to be played in one minute. I think playing this piece too fast will surly make it lose some of it's charm. Hope you enjoy it(: Anat.
