Perfect Morning Skies: Raptors, Tomcat, and a New Home for an Old Favorite

Friday, 29 May 2026 - Perfect morning to fly—no wind and overcast skies. My only complaint was the humidity. I brought out the Freewing F-22A Raptor (01) 80mm, Freewing F-14D Tomcat (03) Dual 64mm, and the Freewing F-16C 70mm. The beautiful weather also brought out a large crowd, which made for some challenging flights with plenty of air traffic to keep an eye on. Despite that, all three aircraft performed well and put on a great show. I also dusted off one of my original aircraft—a Freewing F-22A Raptor 64mm that had been hanging in the hangar room for nearly two years—to give it a test flight. It flew great, proving it still had plenty of life left in it.
