Have we ever wondered what our money does while we sleep? Money never sits still, and both when we bank it and when we spend it, it creates change. But what is the rationale behind it? For money to not simply follow the logic of greed but to produce real well-being, for ourselves and others, we need awareness and a healthier relationship with money. Ugo Biggeri outlines the connection between the financial system and our personal relationship with money. Ugo Biggeri was among the founders of Banca Etica and Etica Sgr, and served as president of both. He has always been active in the fields of social justice and ecology, both professionally and personally, and within his family, where he practices what he calls "cheerful sobriety." He is the author of popular books on ethical finance, including "Money Gives Happiness: A Semi-Serious Course in Financial Survival" (Chiarelettere 2020).
