This Is Where Africa Really Ends

We drove from Cape Town to Cape Agulhas, the true southernmost point of Africa, to discover what it's really like at the very edge of the continent. Many people assume the Cape of Good Hope is the southernmost point of Africa, but that title actually belongs to Cape Agulhas. Join us as we follow quiet country roads through the beautiful Overberg, meet some unexpected new friends, climb South Africa's second-oldest working lighthouse, and stand at the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Along the way, there were coffee stops, curious sheep, friendly donkeys, fish and chips by the sea, a surprise encounter with one of our subscribers, and a spectacular sunset drive home. These are the moments we love most about travelling slowly — not just the destinations, but everything in between.
