Legal expert: Ramaphosa ruling won’t derail impeachment process

University of Pretoria’s Dr Llewelyn Curlewis says the Western Cape High Court’s ruling temporarily halts the impeachment process but does not end it. He says the judgment protects President Cyril Ramaphosa’s integrity while the Section 89 panel report is being reviewed. Curlewis adds that the process now faces a delay rather than a collapse.
