Sail250 Maryland & Airshow Baltimore - RAF Red Arrows

The Royal Air Force's Red Arrows kicked off their Operation Eagle Hawk tour of the United States with this spectacular display over Baltimore. The Red Arrows are in the United States performing displays in Baltimore, Jones Beach, Maine, Ypsilanti, and Oshkosh, along with flyovers in New York City and other locations to help celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Unfortunately, because of aircraft parts supplies (and engines), the Red Arrows are performing using only seven aircraft for the foreseeable future. They are, however, doing flyover-only appearances with nine jets. Regardless, I do appreciate the Red Arrows for making the trip over to the United States. This demo did have a pause due to traffic skirting the airshow TFR. The Sail250 Maryland & Airshow Baltimore is one of the signature events commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, with airshow dates taking place from June 26-28, 2026. Each ICAS member air show is eligible for a single package of the three music licenses for one air show at the cost of $770 for a one (1) day air show; $1,100 for a two (2) day air show; $1,375 for a three (3) day air show; $1,650 for a four (4) day air show; $1,925 for a five (5) day air show, $2,200 for a six (6) day air show; $2,475 for a seven (7) day air show, and $2,750 for an eight (8) day air show. The rate applies only to music broadcast over the public address system during the public air show portion of the program (not practice/rehearsal/closed to the public days) and does not provide the air show with the right to use pre-recorded music at concerts or other non-air show special events held in conjunction with the air show. These rates may be higher for 2026 events.
