Jatirogo Station (JTG) is a class II non-active train station located in Wotsogo, Jatirogo, Tuban. The station which is located at an altitude of +66 meters is included in the Region Aset IV Semarang. This station is the last package of the Samarang – Joana Stoomtram Maatschappij (SJS) railroad which will connect it to the Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij (NIS) line. This station is a shared station, functioning to transport passengers and quartz sand. On June 1, 1914, the Lasem-Pamotan line was completed, followed by the Pamotan-Jatirogo line on February 20, 1919. The extension to Bojonegoro was carried out by Nederlandsch-Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij (NIS) as part of the project to transport quartz sand by railroad. On May 1, 1919, the route was completed. During operation, these lines and stations serve as the backbone for transporting quartz, clay, and limestone to various regions and being exported. This is also in line with the development of science and technology in Europe, at that time quartz was needed in the development of physics, chemistry, and electronics. However, these routes and stations ended their history as the backbone of public transportation in 1999. Although the planning was carried out in 1999, the station was only closed in 2001 due to the remaining quartz stock.
