45mm Night Street Photography
In this video I use the 45mm 1.2 RF lens from Canon for a night street photography session. This lens is cheap for a 1.2 aperture, lightweight, rather small and compact, which makes it ideal for street and travel photography. Also, as the fast prime lens it is, it's perfect for low light situations, such as night photography. Yes, the image isn't as sharp as much more expensive 1.2 lenses and yes the vignetting is pretty dramatic, but those give the images something of a retro, unperfected feel. The biggest drawback in my opinion is the image distortion. Even with camera distortion correction setting on, you will have to straighten the images in post production in most cases.
