This program was inspired by Tom Lea's historic novel The Hands of Cantú and features Spanish Baroque music from composers across Latin America. As you watch, take a moment to admire the stunning murals lining the Hall of State — commissioned by Tom Lea himself — whose sweeping depictions of Texas and Spanish heritage set the perfect backdrop for an evening of music rooted in that same tradition. It was a truly resonant collaboration of Spanish culture, art, and music in every sense of the word!
