At first a way of dealing with the lack of new chapters, these memes have truly stood the test of time and don't show a sign of becoming irrelevant, despite the new chapters having already arrived. Or one could even say they still stay around not despite the new chapters, but because of them. A ton of new content leads to a ton of new discussion, theories and, of course, a ton of new ideas for jokes. That is the beauty of a community. It unites many different people with similar likes and interests together, to allow them to explore and create ideas one could rarely come up with by themself.
