H50 Needs To Let Laurie Go — Here's the Michael Myers Trilogy I'd Make

H50 Needs to Let Laurie Go - Here's the Trilogy I'd Actually Make Reports are circulating that Miramax is developing a new Halloween movie for the franchise's 50th anniversary — and with no script, plot, or direction locked in yet, I couldn't resist pitching my own idea. In this video, I break down everything I think H50 needs to avoid — no Laurie, no Loomis, no Haddonfield, no modern-day setting, no remakes — and lay out my full pitch: a Michael Myers trilogy set in the decade gap between Halloween II and Halloween 4, following a young, newly-escaped Michael as he terrorizes three different towns for the first time completely on his own. No Loomis tracking him. No myth built up yet. Just The Shape, and nobody coming to save anyone. We'll cover: How Michael could've actually survived the Halloween II hospital explosion Why the franchise needs to finally deliver on its original anthology promise A full trilogy structure (1982 → 1985 → 1987)building the bridge into Halloween 4 The mistakes I think doomed the David Gordon Green trilogy - and how to avoid repeating them.
