Third places are multiplying in France and constitute one of the most powerful social movements of the last 15 years. These places and the social processes they trigger are valuable tools for societal, ecological, and climate transition. What is a third place? How can we explain the impact third places have on our lifestyles and our territories? How can they help us preserve the habitability of our planet and accelerate the adaptation of our societies? She created Maison Glaz, a third place located at the very tip of the Gâvres peninsula in the Bay of Lorient. She has definitively chosen action to contribute to both the revitalization and resilience of the territory: strengthening social ties, creating jobs and local services, promoting and protecting biodiversity, and exploring new ways of living.
