Chinese New Year Parade Chinatown 2015

Close-up footage of the Chinese New Year Parade held March 7, 2015 in San Francisco Chinatown at the last grandstand on Kearny. Very exciting! Watch fireworks shooting up the sky as a background setting for the enthusiastic performers. There were brightly colored costumes with dragons, dancing lions, tigers and many more. Marching bands like California Polytechnic State University danced, sang and played. Many brightly lit colorful floats passed by. Two large firecracker explosions at the end was lit by Mayor Ed Lee, who literally created a blast! Great way to set the New Year! Finally, at the intersection of Kearny and Jackson during the finale, Mayor Ed Lee, at about 20 feet away lit two rounds of firecrackers and created a blast! It was spectacular. The giant dragon, Gum Lum later passed through. What a great way to set the New Year! Thank you for watching!
