The demon prince beelzebub or Baalzebul depending on who you ask, is the second in command of the underworld and has a larger hand in humanity than we might want to admit. Whether he is the false god of the canaanite region of Ekron, or the second to fall in the unholy trinity of primeval demons, Beelzebub is certainly a being worthy of study and understanding. Thankfully the old god appears in our favorite series shin megami tensei and persona, and I must say the design is really quite fantastic. This marks another in the series on the tony4you channel that covers the demon princes of hell, with Beelzebub being a long time coming. The fallen angels that acquired power in their demonic state is some of the most interesting history to research in all of theology. The mythology surrounding these demons of the bible and old testament demons hold truths that can still be applied and understood today. It's important we learn from these ancient stories, or we are doomed to repeat the lessons learned by those in the ancient bible stories we look back on today. In all of the layers of hell there are but a few demons that hold the title of prince. Encompassing the 7 deadly sins each of these demons represents the absolute worst ideals a living creature can strive for. Even among these demons of renown there is one that stands above the others, second only to Lucifer himself and holds a title to match his status, that demon being Beelzebub. With dominion over the deadly sin of Gluttony and oversight of all demons and devils, we can understand he has a very strong influence over the people of earth. A little carelessness can change the course of your life, and a lack of self control can lead you down a very dark path.
