Safety First - Garmin GPSMAP86i with the In-Reach feature

Hey Team, Thought I would share with you my experiences with the Garmin GPSMAP86i with the In-Reach feature. Handheld GPS map with satellite texting and SOS feature, this is one user friendly unit and a great safety device to go along side your Epirb and VHF. When your offshore and out of cellphone coverage you can still text home, maps for a secondary chart plotter and a SOS function for a monitored response in an emergency and also great weather forecast as well. Use it for hunting, tramping and even when you're overseas to text home. Cheers Tony
