About the Rabbi and Yeshiva Zohar Harakia: Rabbi Shimon Yaakov Dahan, Shlita, born in Colomb-Besshar, Algeria, grew up in the ways of Torah in a small town on the border of Tafilalet in Morocco, to a God-fearing family, neighboring the Abuhatzeira family. Rabbi Shalom Abuhatzeira served as his godfather in his covenant.
