3 Things To Consider Before Getting a Motorcycle- Toronto, Canada

Hi Everyone! Today’s video is about a comment that came in about the best age to own and ride a motorcycle. I think there are a lot of great and fun goals in life that you can experience at a younger age and I think it is really great to take up a hobby like riding at any age as well! As a suggestion however, what I would recommend to consider before you get your M1 is the following: 1) Because riding is an expensive hobby, are you financially ready to commit yourself to the costs associated with riding? (For instance: the bike, all the gear, safety courses, licenses, registration, insurance per month and committing to a year, and paying for gas for your bike consistently and maintenance? The costs can add up very quickly so just a heads up! :) - I have a video that discusses all these costs in more detail: Link:    • Motorcycle Costs- Toronto, Canada   2)Do you feel mentally prepared for any circumstance that could happen to you as a result of riding. I'm sure you are aware of the higher risk of riding a bike vs. a car but I would say that it definitely takes a level of maturity to be focused and ride smart and safe. If you feel ready and willing to do the M1 and M2 safely I would say that riding would be a great goal to achieve! 3) Timing will be key! As I mention in my video you only have a short time span after getting your M1 to get your M2 or else it will expire. Are you living in Canada by chance in a city with a lot of snow over the winter in December? If so, I would say definitely wait till atleast March next year to do your M1 so that you can do your M2 right away outside in nicer weather by safety course or with Service Ontario. I have a video that discusses all these timings in more detail: Link:    • Getting your Motorcycle license (M1 & M2) ...   After considering these 3 items then I believe you may have a better idea if you are completely ready! If you have any other questions I would be happy to help! x Melody
