Make the Filling In a bowl, combine olive oil, Italian bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, grated Fontina, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Mix well until it forms a flavorful stuffing. 2. Prep the Meat Lay out your thin slices of top round and pound them even thinner. You want them nice and tender so they roll easy. 3. Stuff & Roll Scoop some of that filling onto each slice of beef. Top with one fresh basil leaf. Roll them up tight and tie off the ends with kitchen twine. 4. Brown the Braciole Heat a pan with a little olive oil. Brown the rolls on all sides. Season lightly with salt and pepper while they cook. 5. Slow Cook Transfer the browned Braciole into a slow cooker. Cover completely with your favorite tomato sauce. 6. Cook Low & Slow Cook for 3–4 hours until fork tender… 👉 but NOT fall-apart tender — you still want to slice them clean. 🍽️ Serving Tip Serve with pasta and that rich sauce right over the top. Finish with a little extra Parmesan… and now you’re eating like Tony Soprano himself. Link to the Crock Pot I use. https://amzn.to/48sx255 Link to my Cutting Board https://amzn.to/4wamemb
