Welcome to Brasov, Romania. In this walking tour of Brasov, we are taking a stroll through the historic centre of the city Brașov is a beautiful city located in the Transylvania region of Romania. It is surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains which make sit a very popular travel destination in Winter for those who like winter sports. The things that made Brasov popular among tourists are its medieval Saxon walls and bastions. One of the most famous buildings has to be the towering Gothic-style Black Church located very close to the Council Square. We start our walking tour of Brasov on a cobbled side street, full of lively cafes and restaurants, just a couple of minutes away from Piaţa Sfatului (Council Square). We then visit the famous Council Square, located in the cobbled old town, beautiflul square surrounded by colorful baroque buildings. here we can see the fountain and Casa Sfatului, a former town hall now transformed into a local history museum. After a walk on the main street of the city center, we reach the Nicolae Titulescu Park. Here we can see the new Town Hall and cool off in the shade. Only to return to the Council Square where we finish our virtual tour of the city.
