The ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom in Warri Southwest Local Government of Delta State has accused the state government of choosing “to play politics” ... The Ogbe-Ijoh and the Aladja communities both in Delta state, Udu local Government, and Warri South-west local government has been fighting and killing themselves since 1995 resulting of land boundary dispute. It was reported that yesterday 16th of September 2022, Aladja community and Ogbe-Ijoh community engaged themselves in gun battle leaving two people dead and many injured. Tension building up in Delta communities, to be precise Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladge communal crisis has started again. In this video, I will discuss this issue and talk about possible solutions to end this conflit. The Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladge communal crisis started many years ago; I think it started in 1995 as a result of the boundary disputes. And many efforts have been made by individuals and the government to end this crisis but to no avail. Now yesterday the 16th of September 2022, the tension engulf these communities where both communities engaged in a gun battle living two dead and others injured. Now my question is; what is really the problem of these both parties. Is it really the boundary adjustment? If it is boundary adjustment; why can’t the local government or even the state government stand on a neutral ground to settle this boundary dispute once and for all. Or is it that some persons are making business out of it? Because I don’t understand, if not this crisis that has claimed so many innocent lives and destroyed properties worth billions of naira. Yet we don’t want to stop this fight. Now the most annoying part of the whole issues is that these two communities inter-marry themselves. That means during these years while these communities were fighting and killing themselves and destroying properties worth billions of naira, were actually carried out by co-in-laws from both communities
