Wait for the Lord -- A Lectio Divina Meditation
Our meditation today is a Lectio Divina, which is Latin for Divine Reading. This ancient form of meditation has 4 steps: to read, to meditate, to pray, and to contemplate on a specific passage from Scripture. The repetition of the passage followed each time by reflecton allows us to treat the Scripture as the Living Word of God, delving into a deeper meaning and understanding with each repetition and reflection. This helps us to become one with the Scripture, turning this meditation into a powerful conversation with God. Today's Scripture is from Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord."
