Adorable Flared Sleeve Stand Collar Baby Frock Cutting and Stitching | Easy & Beautiful Baby Frock Hey there, lovely viewers! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I have a super cute and fun project for you – we’re going to create an adorable flared sleeve stand collar baby frock. This one is perfect for special occasions or just to make your little one look extra stylish. So, grab your fabrics and sewing kit, and let’s get started! Materials: 1. Soft fabric of your choice (for the frock) 2. Coordinating thread 3. Scissors 4. Measuring tape 5. Pins 6. Sewing machine (or you can hand-sew) Step 1: Taking Measurements Start by taking the measurements for your baby’s chest, waist, and desired length for the frock. This will ensure a perfect fit. Step 2: Cutting the Fabric Using your measurements, cut out the front and back panels of the frock. Make sure to add extra for seam allowances. Step 3: Preparing the Stand Collar Cut a strip of fabric for the stand collar. Fold it in half lengthwise and stitch the edges together. Then, fold it in half again and attach it to the neckline of the back panel. Step 4: Sewing the Flared Sleeves Cut out two flared sleeve pieces and stitch them along the curved edge. Attach the sleeves to the front and back panels. Step 5: Stitching it Together Place the front and back panels right sides together and stitch the sides and shoulders. Don’t forget to leave openings for the arms! Step 6: Hemming Fold and hem the bottom of the frock and the sleeves to give it a neat finish. Step 7: Finishing Touches Add any embellishments or buttons as per your preference to make it even more adorable. Step 8: Try it On Once you’re done, try the frock on your baby to make sure it fits perfectly. Make any necessary adjustments.
