GTA Vice City | The Decoy

Tommy heads to Berkley’s garage, but the shutters are down tight. He calls Berkley, who answers in a panic. Berkley explains that the FIB has traced the RC car attacks back to him — they found his stash of RC vehicles and are preparing a raid. Berkley says he’s leaving Vice City immediately for San Andreas, but he needs Tommy to create a distraction so the agents don’t catch him fleeing. Tommy agrees. He drives the Top Fun van near the police station and unleashes chaos, smashing cop cars with RC vehicles until the wanted level spikes. Sirens wail, and soon the FIB units who were supposed to raid Berkley’s garage are chasing Tommy instead. He barrels through Vice City streets, ramming anything in his path, leading them on a destructive chase all the way to Ocean Beach. Near the lighthouse, Tommy bails out into the bushes, letting the van roll into the ocean. The agents lose sight of the driver, convinced the suspect drowned. Berkley slips out of Vice City unnoticed, bound for San Andreas. But before all this, the real story begins earlier. Berkley had first tasked Tommy with stealing goods from the Haitians. Tommy takes a Bobcat to Little Haiti, fights off resistance, and loads seven crates into the truck. Returning to the garage, Berkley mentions strange signals coming from near the cop station. Tommy investigates in the Top Fun van, spotting an RC car moving suspiciously. He deploys his own RC car to follow, but the battery drains and he loses control. When he goes to recover it, he realizes it was a trap set by his old rival Mickey — another RC fanatic from Downtown. Mickey, furious that Tommy once stole the Top Fun van and gave it to Berkley, unleashes waves of RC explosives against him. Tommy counters with the van’s mounted gatling gun, shredding Mickey’s toys one by one. Out of options, Mickey flees on an RC helicopter. Tommy pursues, eventually dragging Mickey down and finishing him off. But Mickey’s final trick is revealed — the helicopter itself was rigged as a trap. Before Tommy can react, the setup springs.
