Volunteers Plant 250 Trees in NYC for Earth Day

On May 4, 2025, over 100 volunteers came together at Arverne East Nature Preserve in Far Rockaway, NY to plant 250 native trees and plants in honor of Earth Day. In just four hours, participants from Brooklyn, Queens, Flushing, Long Island, and Manhattan worked side by side to restore six acres of coastal land — helping rebuild habitat, support local pollinators, and strengthen the shoreline against climate impacts. This inspiring event was organized by the WeLoveU Foundation in partnership with the American Littoral Society and NYC Parks and Recreation, and is part of WeLoveU's global Mom's Garden Project, active in 74 countries. 🌱 Together, we're making a greener, cleaner, healthier future — one tree at a time.
