I haven't been using them a lot but I've only come across one that has clogged on me so I just replaced it with that extra ink insert and it worked fine. There have been some pens that I've used for the first time recently and they worked fine. At first, I thought they were clogged but it was just that I hadn't got the initial flow going. I just scribbled with them a little and they were good. I used to pay $25 for about 8 gel pens in days of old (that might not even last a year before clogging) so the fact these are still working fine and there's 180 pens/180 refills and they're still going strong is amazing to me. ---------------------------- Update 4/7/2018. I've been using these for a few months now and I haven't come across any clogged pens. Granted they're still relatively new but so far so good. The price seems to have gone up but it's still a great deal in my opinion. ----------------------------- 11/03/2017: I've been thinking about getting some new gel pens for a while as I wanted more colors including some glitter versions so I started looking to see what was out there and was shocked to see sets such as this 180 color + 180 refills for $25. The rating and reviews were all pretty good so I thought I would give it a try. Everything worked pretty well out of the box but we'll see how long they last. Can't beat the price though.
