Today’s feature when it came to dunking the ball had and maybe still has all the bounce in the world. But not just leaping, Terrance Ferguson looks the part of a great dunker when he’s in flight. Smooth, graceful, and agile go through my mind when thinking of his style dunker, in the same way I see guys like Zach Levine, Demar Derozan, Rudy Gay and guys like Terrance Ferguson. You love watching them dunk because they literally look like they’re gliding through the air, instead of fighting it like the power dunkers, like a Russell Westbrook, Aaron Gordon, or Blake Griffin. A guy that has both like a Lebron James, power and grace, is even more special. But when it comes to beauty in air, Terrance Ferguson was special at an early point in his journey. It’s literally made him one of the best prospects in his class, and given him enough cache to skip college, turn pro in a different country, and even though he didn’t have the numbers to warrant a 1st round draft selection, it didn’t matter. He was taken anyway 27th overall, all for the excitement he could potential bring to a team, and the whole not many can fill as high flying slashers to assist the greatness of the NBA’s stars. But bounce wasn’t enough and Terrance Ferguson didn’t last past 4 years in the league. What happened?
