GOERING'S ME262 SPECIAL PROJECT SITE

The ME262 was the first active jet tat flew and claimed enemy kills in the world, It was a revolution in aviation history that was initially overshadowed by events, something that would come back and haunt the German Luftwaffe. But given the allies battle for air supremacy and now constant bombing raids of German cities, moist key German induct and war production moved into tunnels, mines or in huge above ground bunkers. So desperately needing the ME262 having finally set on the design, Goering chose to have a huge bunker complex constructed, as well as made use of a huge tunnel system of old mines also. This was the most modern turn key jet fighter factory, constructed in giant bunkers in stages and transported to the top of a mountain, which had been shaved flat and a runway built there, thus metal parts go in one tunnel and eventually jets fly from the top. Naturally the bunkers were partially blown up later but they are extremely impressive, so join me visit the site and look for the special parts thereof.
