How to make natural ink from oak galls

Oak gall ink has been used for centuries! The batch you see me making here is pretty weak, but a richer color can be achieved by a longer soaking time and a smaller water to gall ratio. Also, it's important to note that if you add too much iron to the solution, it may eventually corrode the paper it is placed on- just a little tidbit if you are trying to make something for historians to find in the future.
