Pennsylvania Vlog - Day 3 (Derrick's B' Day, Shady Maple, Former MLB Pitcher, Etc.)
Friday, June 19th, marks our 3rd vlog of our Pennsylvania weekend. It was Derrick's birthday, and he got to enjoy a free meal at the country's largest buffet, The Shady Maple Smorgasbord. After that, he got to spend some time talking baseball with former MLB relief pitcher, Gene Garber, who attends the church pastored by our friend, Pastor Dan. Mr. Garber made history on August 1st, 1978, by striking out all-time hits leader, Pete Rose, thus ending Pete's 44 game hitting streak. After that, we got to spend some time with our Amish friends, Martha and Elam, and their family.
