An Invitation to the Ball

This dance was devised by the late May Macfarlane, who founded four SCD dance groups in Toronto. May wrote the dance in 2011, acknowledging her invitation to attend the 45th RSCDS Toronto Tartan Ball in 2008 as a Guest of Honour. At the Ball she was presented with the RSCDS Scroll of Honour in recognition of her services to Scottish Country Dancing for both RSCDS TA and the Society.
