DK64 101% In Full - Part 1: Two Demons Down

It's the very start of DK64 101%! I've played a lot of Donkey Kong 64 in my life but one reason or another I've never actually finished it outside of the Randomizer because as a kid I could never beat DK Arcade and as an adult I never wanted to. Usually I'd play it pretty selectively picking and choosing which Golden Bananas I want to get and which to just pass on by. Not this time! This time I must get every Golden Banana and if I can get one now, why not now? That's the ethos of this playthrough basically, I'm trying to complete each area as much as I can generally before leaving it which has been interesting. Also it means I can't give up on things like Beetle One or either Donkey Kong Arcade, I have to beat them and... I'll just tell you, I did so tonight without save states, rewinding or nothing. Feels good though my enmity remains. Two demons down, many to go. As I played I talked about stuff as I do. Off topic topics include my weekend (swimming and Andor), uncle stuff, finishing 007 Last Light, getting to late game Mina the Hollower, late late The Office, how I plan to spend this coming week in a mostly quiet fashion, sleep schedule stress, Godot struggles, how little I liked the newest Mission Impossible film and how irritated my eye was feeling/how much I should've taken a break but never did. Little bit of everything, really. I think we're on good pace so far with having gotten around a fifth of the game's GBs. Hopefully we can continue this pace and maybe even go a bit faster if we have fewer demons to slay but we'll see. Probably later streams will have more demons, won't they? We'll see!
