We can only capture the first Pokémon per route/area. We will initially have 20 lives. If a Pokémon's HP reaches 0, it will be considered dead and unusable for the rest of the challenge. It will be placed in a box, and you will lose 1 HP. Evolutionary line lock: You cannot capture Pokémon that share the same evolutionary line, with the exception of Pokémon with split evolutionary lines. The following will be randomized: Floor items, TMs, Pokémon Abilities, Learned Moves, Wild Pokémon, Trainer Pokémon, Gym Leader, and Elite Four Pokémon. The Safari Zone and the Bug-Catching Contest will be considered a special capture route where you can capture only one Pokémon, but it doesn't have to be the first one you encounter. Day Care is prohibited. Eggs can only hatch if given by an NPC. Fossils can only be revived once. Revives are prohibited. Rare Candies and the Exp. Share are allowed. Switching Pokémon in battle is allowed. The use of items in battle is prohibited, except for Poké Balls and Lures. We can heal before or after each battle. Level limit: We cannot exceed the level of the signature Pokémon of the Gym Leader or Elite Four member we are facing.
