⭐️ Struggling To Forgive? 10 Reasons to Forgive for yourself and others Forgiveness is choosing to love someone who has hurt you, whether intentionally or unintentionally.  It is not easy but can get easier over the years as you realize how important it is, and you experience a sense of freedom on the other side of each situation that warrants forgiveness.Forgiveness is not accepting or agreeing with the offense that has been done to you.  And it doesn’t mean that you have to continue to be in a close relationship with someone who has hurt you.  But, it also doesn’t mean that you can’t.  When asked what advice I would give new married couples, I always say, be ready and willing to forgive.   *Today, I will share 10 reasons why forgiveness is so impotent and why, as Catholics, Christians and children of God, we are called to forgive: 1. Freedom from the pain, 2. Increased Energy, 3. Positive thoughts, words and actions, 4. Increased ability to ask others for forgiveness, 5. Ability to free another to discover the truth, 6. As Christians, We are called to forgive , 7. It frees us from control of the enemy, 8. It is an important form of self-care, 9. It encourages us to dig deeper- Spiritual Maturity, 10.
