After cutting down our marker tree, that was also a danger tree, we were able to start working on laying out our own twist on a traditional "batter board" layout. It worked out quite well I think, though it took a little longer than we expected. Now we can start digging the footings for our post and pier foundation. I need to formally apologize for taking so long on releasing this video. It has been a little bit rocky for us to get our heads on straight while learning how to build a house.
