Kishore Kumar_Loke Amaaye Maataal Bole (Rakhal Chandra Maataal - Musical Play; 1986)

As his Durga Puja offering in 1986, Kishore Kumar produced a brilliant musical play titled Rakhal Chandra Maataal, which was presented on one side of an LP record by HMV. Shibdas Bandypadhyay wrote the play and the two songs in it. Kishore Kumar was the solo actor, playing different roles with aplomb, as only he could do. He composed the music for the play, while Basudeb Chakraborty assisted him and arranged the music. Presented here is a lovely song from that musical play - a fine melody, which also has a beautiful sanchari. The song can be enjoyed as a standalone solo in the same way as it can be along with the play.
