Mountain Escape: Off-Grid in New Mexico

A snowstorm arrived more powerful than expected as I was tucked away in the New Mexico Mountains in late April. Having just finished up a move from TX to NM and sitting at 7983 feet, only time would tell how much snow would fall. This off grid spot in the Santa Fe National Forest offered vast views of the NM landscape and the Los Alamos city down below. I am a traveling medical professional living full time in this 13 foot Scamp towed by a 05 Jeep Rubicon, documenting my journey across the United States.
