Die Frontposition erklärt - Einstieg in die Bodenarbeit der Akademischen Reitkunst

In this video, we explain the basics of the front position, in which you walk backward in front of the horse. As part of the art of riding, it's ideal for explaining the aids to horses and keeping a close eye on their movements. ______________________________________________________________ We're always happy to receive questions and suggestions in the comments! TaktGefühl is a team of two friends who share a passion for horses and many years together at the stable. In 2018, we started sharing our knowledge and experiences in videos. Sarah (23) has been riding since she was six. She had her first riding share at the age of eleven and met the rest of the team through this. She has always had a keen interest in groundwork and circus skills. For some time now, she has also been working according to academic equitation, although she also enjoys incorporating elements of other riding styles into her work. In 2020, after graduating from high school, she fulfilled her dream of owning a horse and bought a now 8-year-old PRE gelding named Cayetano ("Tano"). The two have already attended several Working Equitation courses, and in the distant future, Sarah would like to learn mounted fencing with him. Mona (26) took her first riding lessons at the age of eight and then, in 2015, had the opportunity to share a horse with a partner, with whom she experienced and achieved a great deal over the course of five years. Unfortunately, her three subsequent partners parted ways after just one year due to relocations. From December 2023 to June 2024, she had the five-year-old trotting gelding Sid at her disposal, who, with Sarah's help, became a reliable leisure partner. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old Hanoverian mare Rieke is back at her side as a riding partner, and nothing stands in the way of the next adventures for the four of them.
