This week Sony has announced the new A1 mirrorless camera. This is a unique camera featuring a 50 megapixel, stacked CMOS sensor. This combined with the latest Bionz XR processor will allow a 1.5x readout speed improvement over the A9 sensor. This means we get flash sync speeds now of 1/400 sec (1/500 in APS-C crop mode).
