A Tribute to Amal Michael D'Cruz from the Aga Khan Family | Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi

Friday, 10th January 2025 Today's events were devoted and dedicated to our dear Amal. Our weekly assembly consisted of speeches from his close friends and teachers, who highlighted what a great young man he was, as well as what we can all learn from him. Following the assembly, Amal's family viewed his dedicated board that was made the day prior by his close friends. Lastly, Amal's family, close friends, and teachers gathered on the school field to plant a tree in his memory. The sapling is of the Podocarpus latifolius species. This was accompanied by prayers and all the persons present contributing to the planting. Rest in peace, champion. You are loved and will be deeply missed by the whole Aga Khan community. We will take care of your family, don't you worry.
