Making of Daichan's Let's Go Fishing [Program Starts from the 65th Basement Floor] ⑰ ========================== This program started airing in January....(^^; As you all know, Daichan is a big fan of black sea bream. Therefore, in the filming that started during the time of year when black sea bream are hardest to catch, he struggled (inwardly) with not being able to catch the fish he wanted, but in front of the TV camera he flashed a high-spirited smile and continued to work hard to convey the fun and excitement of fishing to the viewers. And now that spring has finally arrived, it's the season for "spawning black sea bream," where anyone can catch a dream large black sea bream over 50cm. Will he finally show his true potential? He later started to go wild as a fishing entertainer, even jokingly calling himself "the third best angler in the world?" (lol) Dai-chan really does love black sea bream. Even in his private life, he fishes for them every weekend in Hiroshima Bay whenever he has free time. After 27 years of broadcasting the show, it seems that in recent years, filming hadn't been successful in catching any black sea bream. I started coming in again after receiving another job request from Dai-Pro (since 2016), and cameraman Miyata became Dai-chan's right-hand man, filming and editing the show after the 1000th episode (since 2015). Despite all this, he continues his private fishing trips, demonstrating his deep love for black sea bream. It was great. Since 2019, Miyata-san has become seriously hooked on black sea bream fishing. Even after two or three consecutive days of unsuccessful filming, leaving him exhausted, he would go fishing that weekend to relieve his stress... (^o^; He's what you'd call a "fishing fanatic." Since the summer of 2021, I've also joined him on his black sea bream fishing trips. Every weekend, Miyata-san and I would chase black sea bream using the full-depth float fishing method from oyster rafts in Hiroshima Bay, and (occasionally) Dai-chan would join us fishing alongside us, making for a very enjoyable time. In May 2022, when I achieved my personal bests with both a black sea bream and a red sea bream on the same day, Dai-chan was fishing next to me. He was using a landing net to bring up the large red sea bream (68cm) I caught. They helped me with the work.
